Sadly 2024 saw the last Underneqth the Stars festival, the organisers calling it a day after 10 fabulous years. We’d been involved for the last 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our time working with Emma, Pete and the rest of their team and making lots of friends along the way.
On the bright side, The Gate to Southwell Festival goes from strength to strength in its new lakeside setting at Kirklington. After a bumper year last year the festival has announced its most impressive line-up to date headlined by The Proclaimers, Richard Thompson, Peat & Diesel and Elephant Sessions. Also on the bill are Steve Knightley and the Winter Yards Band, Rioghnach Connolly and Honeyfeet, Black Umfolosi and a host of others. The festival has also just announced an innovative initiative, teaming up with the East Coast Music Association of Canada, to bring some of their amazing acts across the pond.
